Lettuce

This is what happened to the last pot of lettuce


Heat + Exposure = Going to Seed Rapidement

Time for lettuce round two - once more with feeling and much more variety.

Looks great, Prue. Wish you luck with your lettuces. Would be eager to see the different varieties growing in your balcony. Ah! How I love your updates on a particular plants and its varieties. I think you weren't serious when you named your blog ;)

Your lettuce looks delectable. You should look for australian yellow leaf lettuce. I am trying it this year, it grows a huge loose leaf head and is bolt resistant.

We have an australian lettuce? And it is yellow? oooh the things you learn. :)

Ate some of it last night, some is bitter already but the curly leaf is yummmmmmmmmmmmyyyy.

Although it is turning cold, I've always wondered why Salad veggies grow in winter - but Salads are consumed less in winter. If only lettuce grew better in summer - but digress.
