Garden Bloggers Blooms Day

Flowers and aphids seem to go hand in hand in the balcony garden! Instead of the aphids, I think I'll just post about the prettier side of life. In bloom today in the balcony garden:

The cornflowers are lovely. Alongside the blue and black ones pictures there is a set of white cornflowers in one of the carrot pots.

Violas are popping up everywhere.

One of these pansies has been a victim of the evil snail or caterpillar lurking on the balcony.

Sunflowers are everywhere and in all different colours.

The Geranium is still going a year on, red and sturdy.

And in equally red splendour the lantern is still flowering strong.

That's it for blooms in the balcony garden this bloggers blooms day.

I love those blue cornflowers! I planted some last year for the first time and now will have them in my garden every year. They're such an electric shade of blue. Lots of lovely blooms on your balcony--Happy Bloom Day!

I sowed my cornflowers this week and am praying that they germinate! I so badly wanted them last year, but rains washed them away so I gave up as it was colder climates further.
I love your sunflowers too! Wonderful photos!

Bloom day leads me to suspect that your balcony is ginormous... how do you get the garden tractor up there to plow in the spring?

Seriously gorgeous sunflowers... it must be early autumn your way, yes?

Hello! I found your blog on May Garden's Bloom Day blog. I don't have much yard space either, so I do a lot of container gardening as well. I LOVE your sunflowers! I'm trying to grow some red ones this year in addition to the regular yellow ones. Looking forward to reading through the rest of your blog!
