I have a small inner city place, equipped with a rather spacially restricted balcony. The latest obsession is filling this space with green delight and this blog is intended to bear witness to my feeble green thumb attempts.

Harvest Monday
Tomatoes! More and more tomatoes!!! You can see the horrible cracking the black russians, but also the lovely variations in colour as they ripen! Yum.
Michelle - indeed they are, and it isn't too hard to cut the cracks off.
Kalena Michele - Yayay what kind of tomatoes? I love seed swapping though given my wilt it looks like I will need special seeds next year :(
Daphne - I'll keep the photos coming as long as they last, but it looks like it'll be a very short season given the rapidly onsetting wilt, although the tomatoe fruits seem fine.
Cracked or not, they still look so juicy and good! Enjoy...
ReplyDeleteLook at you! I just got my first tomato seeds in the mail today from Daphne's. Etc.!
ReplyDeleteOh tomatoes. They are just a hazy memory now to me. So yours look great, cracks and all.
